David Myers

Dr. David G. Myers, Ph.D. in psychology from the University of Iowa, teaches at Hope College, Michigan. He's an esteemed professor and commencement speaker. Recognized with awards including the Gordon Allport Intergroup Relations Prize and multiple honorary doctorates, he has also chaired his city's Human Relations Commission and co-founded an assistance center for families in poverty. His writings include A Quiet World on hearing loss, advocating for improved assistive technology. He received the American Academy of Audiology Presidential Award (2011) and the Walter T. Ridder Award (2012). Dr. Myers cycles to work and plays basketball daily.

Dr. Jean Marie Twenge is an American psychologist researching generational differences, including in life goals, work values, and speed of development. She is a professor of psychology at San Diego State University, consultant, public speaker and author. Dr. Twenge has examined generational differences in work attitudes, developmental speed, sexual behavior, life goals and religious commitment.

Jean is also known for her books Social Psychology (with David Myers), Generation Me (2006, updated 2014), iGen (2017) and The Narcissism Epidemic (2009, co-authored with W. Keith Campbell). She has also authored numerous research papers and articles.
