A Contemporary Classic

Contemporary; yet classical, and theoretical, yet applied – McClave & Sincich’s Statistics 13th edition (PDF) gives you the best of both worlds. This etextbook offers a very trusted and comprehensive introduction to the field of statistics that emphasizes inference and integrates real data throughout. The authors stress the development of stats thinking, the assessment of credibility, and value of the inferences made from that real data. This new 13th edition is extensively revised with an eye on clearer, more concise language throughout the textbook and especially the exercises.

Ideal for two- or one-semester courses in introductory statistics, this ebook assumes a mathematical background of very basic algebra. Flexibility is built in for instructors who teach a more advanced course, with optional footnotes about the underlying theory and calculus.
